Marketrove makes Pakistan proud as Burj Khalifa lights up in 'Sukoon' Colors


On October 6th, Oman Insurance Company launched its new brand name “Sukoon” in a classy ceremony at the Address Hotel in Dubai. Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building lit up in the colors of the new brand as the company’s Chairman, Board of Directors and management looked on with pride.

While many teams from across the world came together to make this possible, the company’s main creative team located in Lahore deserves a special mention. Marketrove, a Lahore-based staff augmentation setup and Oman Insurance Company now referred as Sukoon, one of UAE’s largest DFM-listed insurers, partnered in 2021 to setup a creative offshore office in Lahore. The same team was tasked with rebranding Oman Insurance to Sukoon.

“It was an uphill task for the team here.”, said Zeeshan Qureshi, co-founder and CEO of Marketrove. “The initial concepts came from some of the world’s best agencies but the real challenge was to disseminate those into a living and breathing infrastructure. This included documents that Oman Insurance had been using from a very long time, different technical web portals, corporate website, mobile apps and so much more.” he added.

In recent years, many well-known organizations from the gulf region as well as western countries have moved their creative livewires to the subcontinent. While India still remains the apex market for Information Technology and digital resources in the region, Pakistan’s prowess in creative and digital marketing space is slowly making its mark on the world stage.

“But talent alone does not help. We like to remain focused and train our resources to avoid getting carried away.”, said Hussnain Ahmed, co-founder and Chief HR Officer of Marketrove. “We are continuously advising our talent pool to avoid job hopping, focus on career building and to stress that they may want to consider stable careers for sustained growth. The creative team consists of designers, social media and content experts that worked closely with Sukoon’s team in Dubai in the last 12 months for the rebrand. The management team in Dubai remains in touch with the resources using the all-familiar post COVID tech stack such Microsoft Teams, Slack and emails. The management at Sukoon Insurance has 100% control over the tasks assigned and the offshore team is fully dedicated to it from a time perspective.
